I had an awesome time the other night when I was out at the Alehouse... The band asked me to get up and play a couple songs with them... It was awesome to have a backing band...

Join Tim Melanson at the Moncton Ale House Thursday

I've been in Moncton for a full year now...  I started by finding open mics and getting myself out there and meeting new people.  It took a while but I've finally landed a few shows.  I'm super grateful to the guys at the Moncton Ale House for giving me a shot to audition and then within about a month and a half they offered me so many shows..

If you've never been to the Ale House, then you are definitely in for a treat.  The crowd is friendly and fun and they have live music every night.  The drink specials are great as well!  If you have been to the Ale House before, then you are REALLY in for a treat because they just re-opened last night after renovations and this place is looking amazing!

Gratitude!

Well... I've managed to play quite a few shows in the last few months here in Moncton.  I've landed a regular patio gig at the "Moncton Ale House".  A fantastic location at the corner of Robinson Court and Main street right downtown.

You can check out a performance from there just last week.

I hope to get some more shows in Moncton and maybe even elsewhere too!  Wish me luck.

Summer Patio Music

I'm pretty excited... I had an excellent audition downtown Moncton at the Alehouse (corner of Main and Robinson Court).

I appears I'm in the rotation now, I'll be playing another show on the patio this Saturday 7-11 (July 13th, 2013).

I'm so excited about this and I can't wait to see what the future holds!

Open Mic Moncton Venue Change?

Are you a bar owner looking to attract some new business?

Well, my time with WizeGuyz has come to an end.  I am looking for a new venue.  Preferably something that attracts a 30 something clientele.  I have been hosting open mic for 6 years now and I know how to take over an existing one as well as build it from scratch.

Open Mic in Moncton Still rocking...

I thought I'd post an update of what's going on with me.  I've been in Moncton for about 8 months now and I'm loving it.  The sun is coming out and I'm ready for an awesome summer.  I am still hosting open mic every second Thursday at WizeGuyz and I love it.  We regularly get musicians out and they are all very talented.  Sometimes we even get a drum kit.

I'm looking to start a band this summer and do a bunch more gigs so if you live in Moncton and know someone in the music scene... hook a brother up.  :D

I thought I'd share one of my recent YouTube uploads.  I get requests for Wagon Wheel all the time so I finally decided to learn it.  Now I'm hooked.  Love this song...  It is so much fun to sing. :D
